Skincare #1 - Sebamed Facial Cleanser

Hola!

Since July, I've been separating my day and night facial products. The reason being that I would like to reduce my blackheads, pores as well as to retain the hydration on my face. These are my main concern when it comes to shopping for me facial products - BLACKHEADS, PORES and HYDRATION.

Went to Watsons, wondering round and round for god-knows-how-many-times and at some point I imagine the sales person are suspecting I'm going to steal something from the drug store. LOL. Then I saw this name, Sebamed. I've seen this before, I thought but it never came across to me to actually look at it thoroughly. So that day, I picked the mini kits of 3 - Cleanser, Toner and Care gel. I love trying out mini kits. Just in case I dislike them or it doesn't suit my face and I'm gonna leave it on the shelf for like..forever.

So far so good, it doesn't irritate my skin or give the tightness feeling after cleansing. Though I haven't really seen very much improvement on my blackheads but I think it'll take some time. Yet, I do have a few breakouts (1 or 2) but no big deal. It could be hormones. Perhaps I can tell more when I'm finished the mini kit.

Messy Table for Good Food

Pao Xiang Bak Kut Teh, 1Utama
Xiao Fei Yang, Damansara Uptown
Dave, 1Utama

Hola!

Everybody loves food. Who doesn't? Even if anyone doesn't love food, they need them. I often see people posting pretty food (even myself), but occasionally, I see messy food too. Not that I don't like them. I enjoy messy food on a table too. It's so much exciting with all the choices of food on the table. And I get to eat my food without worrying I'm going to dirty the table or so. Haha.

Besides, I think these kind of dining feels more homey than those of fine dining, no? Among the four pictures I posted above, I love the last one most. Not because of the picture, but the food! Dave is definitely one of my favourite restaurants! It's not cheap but at the same time you can eat messily too! Lol not sure if it's the correct sentence to describe it but yeah. Great food, great ambiance. (:

Nail Tell #13 - Orange and Yellow Chevron Nails

Hola!!!

I've been practising my chevron nails by using scotch tapes and cute it with a chevron scissors. Up to date, this is my best ones.

Products Used:-

1. Yellow and Orange nail polish - elianto
2. White nail polish - Bloop
3. Base coat - Sally Hansen
4. Top Coat - Seche Vite
5. Scotch tape

Once you're done with applying the topcoat over your chevron tapes, remove them and remove extra polish all over the finger. The important part comes in now. There will be flaws when you remove the tape so what I did was I took some white polish to enhance the chevron shapes. Or else it will look like a crooked chevron instead of a really defined design.

My mood wasn't at its best before I did this. And they say colours will affect your mood, I say it's true. Looking at these bright and happy colours did made my day passed easier! Hope you guys enjoy this.

July Splurge and Love

July Splurge Treat

Hola!!

2014 is a good year for me. Or at least I see it's 'so far, so good' to me. Now that I managed to scoop out some time to blog every now and then, I will have another post for 'monthly' Splurge and Love. This is to give some shout outs on my monthly favs or hauls. Therefore, this is a fun deal I made myself. I'll have a monthly splurge but, within my budget. And also for love treat, it means things that somebody a.k.a Mr.A got me. Haha! WTM.

Move on, this month I'm getting myself the Fujifilm  Mini 90 NEO Classic camera! ヽ(^o^)ノ Hahaha! I've been eyeing on this for quite some time now. Well, my eyes have been eyeing quite a lot of things but..

credit to Google

...There are many more months ahead! I'm so excited to play with this new toy. It has much more modes compared to my Instax Mini 7S, so much to explore! With the very much enhanced instax camera, I think it's a pretty good deal I got here. *lol bragging* But seriously, I especially love the double exposure effect mode. Very unique and fun to look at!

July Love Treats

#1. This is one fattening love treat! It's a huge box, I think the biggest size of all. And I think I will need few months to finish this! But this flavour is new to me cause I always get the original ones. This ones are more to light chocolaty taste. Still good, but I prefer the original. Heh.

#3. Ooooo! I'm not a gym/sports junkie but I really think everyone should spend some little time each week working out all the sweat and toxics and releasing their stress through exercising! My current yoga mat was a lousy cheap ones I got from a store - SLIP yoga mat. *dang*. Sports Direct was having sales last week so Mr.A and I went for flash shopping! Haha! After turning rounds and rounds and rounds (at the same spot), I got myself a set of Nike Dri Fit Sports Wear and a new USA PRO Yoga Mat! It says 'non-slip' but yet to be tested. (:

Basically these are my July Splurge and Love! Back by end of August!

New Month, New Hair Colour with a Huge But.

Hola!!

I'm back! I can smell that August is so fresh and will be so much fun. Yes, no? Anyway first thing I did in August was to re-dye my hair. I always wanted purple (my fav colour) and this time, I tell myself to go for it! Instead of having few strands like I did for the past few months.

I didn't get to have it the first time cause the hairstylist insist it wouldn't show on my ends. So I went for pink. Then the second time, I wanted to try green but the hairstylist didn't have the shade that I wanted. So I went for pink (yes, again). Geez. Why is it so difficult for my hair to be purple?!

Hence, I insisted to go for purple, something that would look like picture #1. Few tones of purple. Not too bright, not too dark. Just right. And you can see from picture #2 and #3, those were the 'before' pictures.

POOF!

Long story cute short.
The result was very much disappointing.
My hair was coloured twice that day.
Mood was totally demolished.
The purple that you notice were vibrant as those are the strands that I bleached previously (in pink)

Now, *fingers cross* for next week I'll be back for another try after the hairstylist requested for my comeback. And I do notice my face look terribly yellow. :/

But then, happy august, people!

The Cotton Candy from Oh Scooter Cafe, USJ 21

Hola!

Last week was pretty relaxing for me as people are already in Raya holiday mood and so was my hospital. So, Friday was half day for people who were still working and I went off to meet up my friends in MINI Glenmarie branch. Hah..Kacau kacau.

Since there were a lot of time, my friend drove me to this cafe nearby my ex-company, Oh Scooter cafe. The ambience was pretty cute, with the scooter theme and their signature coffee that's inviting. Thier signature coffee was, well...something unique. They came up with this cotton candy concept as the 'sugar' (i guess) and you put it on top of the bigger cup of coffee while the smaller espresso to kinda melt it down to the bigger cup. It's a great idea to attract customers and fun to play with too. Hahaha.

The cake was a bit off. I'm not sure if it's the fridge's problem or the cake itself. It smells. I can't tell what is it but it smells. Oh and the macaroons, LOL.. Cute scooters! I tot they were two pop-out eyes at first but I saw the scooter only from side view.

For those who are still in Raya holidays, Selamat Hari Raya!

What's With the Cut Cake, Jibby & Co.?

Hola!!!

I.Just.Have.To.Get.This.Out.Of.My.Chest

It was my first time dining at Jibby & Co., Empire Subang and having a great time with my friend. Then we peeked on their desserts and decided to go for their Best Seller cake - Meteor Cake. And for this, I have to say it's a great cake. I love it (minus those creamy parts) and I can kill someone for this. Lol. WTM.

So my friend wanted to take away their Meteor cake and Mr Lova Lova (I think that's the name of it) but sadly Meteor was sold out. :( Then she picked another cake for replacement. When the take away came, they misunderstood for the other. They thought we were going to have another cake, eating in. But then I told them since they haven't pack them yet, AND COINCIDENTALLY WE SAW THE NEW BATCH OF METEOR CAKE CAME INTO THE FRIDGE DISPLAY (dang), I happily requested to take away Meteor cake instead of the one I ordered earlier.

And the waiter said,
.
.
.
.
.
Wait for it
.
.
.
.
.
.

"Sorry, the cake is already cut."

What do you mean by that? Oh, I don't even want to know cause her communication skills went a little wired all night. But it kept me wondering so what if it's already cut? You can still keep it til the next day, with the rest of the cakes.....right? I mean, you DO have to cut the cake before you serve it. I...seriously didn't get it.

And the more I think about it, the more I wasn't satisfied as I paid for the service charges plus it wasn't cheap dining in but that's what I get. :(

My friend wanted the BEST SELLER cake. It's a compliment actually cause it's really yummy and she wanted to get it for her colleagues. So sad.

Dear Jibby & Co., if and only if you're reading this one day.

Nail Tell #11 - Nail Polish/Art Protector

Hola!!

It's a fine morning,
You get ready with your perfect outfit for your perfect date,
You got your makeup done,
And last but not least, nail time,
But then FUUUUUUU! One or two of your nail art got smudged when you just wanted to pull a few strands of hair to the back!

Dang! You wished you've never painted your nails at the first place.

So..... Yeap. This scenario is always happening to me. Hmph. Maybe I grew so familiar to that scenario I just removed it when it happened.

When Polishville sent me these, I thought it wouldn't help at all. But it did. Removing your nail colours or arts after you've put so much time on it is just frustrating. So I thought "Why not give this a try?". In condition that it has to be clipped properly and precisely on every finger. Then you won't need to worry about getting your nail art smudged.

The role is the same of those toe separators but this looks cooler. Haha.. Polishville is selling these too, at a very reasonable price. You guys should check it out. It does protect your nails and wouldn't ruin your perfect day! Get it from

What's For Breakfast and Dinner?

Hola!

Last Tuesday was a public holiday. So I woke up early morning. Around 2pm LOL. And end up in Kaffa Espresson Bar again. Just because of my fav Cafe Freddo!  The Big Breakfast was not worth it so I wouldn't recommend that. Along with their pasta too. Just NO.

Well truth be told, I haven't have anything nice to put up in my post lately. Seeing lots of blogs with pretty images is soooo inspiring but mine is just shyt. -_____________-

But anyway, last tuesday was a great day and night for me. Had dinner at Andes in Aman Suria but it wasn't that great anymore. It just doesn't satisfies my tummy as they used to. Oh, they renovated too! I guess everything changed with it.

P/S RIP to MH17.
