Anniversary Date

Hola!

Last thursday was our first anniversary. Such a dramatic year, I must say (hahaha!). Maybe it's because my previous relationships were always long distance ones so I didn't really have any sort of serious arguments or disagreements. This is probably my first (and lasted for a year so far) XD.

We were both working. I'm busy, he's busier.. So we try to find time to meet up as much as possible and thank God we had time for our anni last week. Nothing special actually. Got him a new spectacles and he was very excited about it. LOL..

I always wrap his presents just to give him a suspense. YouTube was really really helpful with the videos on making boxes form papers, origami boxes etc. I love wrapping presents! We dine at one of our regular places and chilled until it was closed. Great night :)

But yeah.. Happy night and wishing another 365 days with lots of luck!

BGR - Killing Time

Hola!

Something about relationship today. Heh.. Dating in uni is far different from dating in the working society. Workloads, schedules, business trip etc that makes a couple meet up lesser and lesser. I've known some drs who mentioned that they only meet their other half once/twice a month. My response was "?!?!?!?" How do couples survive like that?!

I always think like the meme above too. Especially when my man doesn't pick up my calls or reply my texts. Wtm.. But now that I myself experienced the super busy schedules and all I can think of is your BED, I realise I did pressure my ex partners a lot. I demanded to go out even when they are tired. How mean.. XD

I guess this is THE real deal of COMPROMISING. "It's easy to be said than done", they say. And I true that saying! I'm attached with a workaholic man and I just couldn't be as mean as I was before. Knowing that it's so tiring to date/hangout/walk after a very very long day is just going to frustrate him. And frustrating your man is not cool. Couples end up arguing about who sacrifices more and who compromises more often.

So these are the things you can do when he's busy working:-

1. Shop for him. Shop without your man. Go get him something to enlighten his hectic work with a little surprise! Be it a simple pen or a tie or even a funny handmade card! It's doesn't need to be a celebration or special date to hand him a small gift, right? But don't spend too much on a present cause you might need to get him something quite often.

2. Hangout with friends. Don't neglect your friends when you start dating! They are the important people in your life too! Go catch up with your dear friends/babes/angels WITHOUT your guy. Especially those you haven't meet since ages. Loads of coffee shops/houses/cafes are booming around town. Go try them with your friends. XD

3. Hobby. Everyone has a hobby. E-V-E-R-Y-O-N-E. If you don't have any, bang the wall with your head and figure out one. If you like to read, then spend some time alone reading. If you like to bake, then bake! Occupy your time with your hobby! It'll distract you from thinking about him too much.

4. Catch a drama. K-Pop fan? TVB fan? I'm pretty sure there are tons of dramas you can watch. Go get a few and cry in front of the screen! LOL!

The harder you try to grab water on your palm, the faster it flows out from it.

And it's TGIF tmr! Wohooo!

BGR - Love and Dating

He did everything to impress her,
Flowers,
Chocolates,
Cards,
Good night calls,
Romantic dinners etc...

She fell for him,
Hoping that everything will be as sweet at it is,
Missing him everyday,
Imaginary butterflies around the head.......or tummy,

He and she started dating,

3 months later,
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
Everything is so blur..

Google "What is love" and you will find plenty of definitions and quotes and sayings about it but in the end, every single person would have his/her own definition of what love is.

Couples started dating - everything in the world is sweeter than candies. They will be smiling together and giggling alone when they are apart. The world turns like nobody's business and every moment is a fairytale. Fireworks sparking in the air and rainbows appearing everywhere! Ahh.. things they do when they are sweetly in love. Who doesn't love this stage?

Then without realizing it, the relationship tastes a little off from they way it was... Or should be. It tastes like..........lemon. Yes, it's called relationship turned sour. She begins to wonder what is wrong, he starts to think what will happen next. Arguments ignites every now and then. She is full with hatred, he is filled with anger. Both refuses to give in.

And eventually holding each other's hand never felt any bitter than ever. Ignoring phone calls, tears all over the pillow and initiating a war. A cold war. He and she are both getting tired day after day. Some didn't know what to do, some didn't want to confront the issue, some....too the easy way out.

But there are some who hold on to their lover's hand, holding it tight enough to never let them go. To give it another try, a chance, a new start. They learnt from mistakes, and try their best to never make the same offence. All of the sudden, the relationship is getting hotter than ever! Keeping the flame alive and long lasting. Promising one another the future plans and the next thousand years together.

And that is what love is to me.

Girls Always Go For The Bad Guys

Holla!

I wanted to share my thoughts this time instead of updating my personal life. When I learn what relationship is all about years ago, I came across this saying all the time - Girls always fall for the bad boys. And true enough I did, myself. Maybe it was unintentional that I fell for a bad boy, or maybe, just maybe, I would like to know what it feels like to date a bad boy.

And after so long, this saying is still here. I'm not sure why but it still exist. Probably due to those guys who couldn't get a decent girl or from girls who are caught in this mindset. But I would like to have a say in this.

WHY BAD BOYS

First of all, I would like to say although girls 'always' fall for the bad guys, they might not end up well together due to lots of factors of course. From my experience observation, girls like or are attracted to funny guys regardless they put effort in saying funny things or it just happen. It adds the charm to a guy who has interest in a particular girl and to go for it without going overboard. Good guys tend to overdo it when they don't realize girls prefer it to happen naturally. And somehow the bad ones tend to be pro in this matter.

The other thing is, girls like to have the mentality that they would be THE ONE who would change their bad boys into a not-so-bad boy. Hmm... let me rephrase that - girls would like to think that they are capable of molding the bad side of their man into a good one. Changing a boy/man or any person in the world to your expectations is almost impossible BUT if he really really cares *which the bad guys normally do* and here, I'm talking about going into a happy ending relationship, he would willingly change his bad attitude, habits, character to be a better person for himself as well as for the girl.

Sometimes, it is surprising to see how much a girl can influence a bad guy to be molded into a completely different man. Unconsciously. I could say that most of the bad guys are willing to drop their face/ego/manly hood for that one girl without realizing it themselves. And again, I'm not saying that this applies to ALL OF THE BAD GUYS OR NEITHER I'M SAYING ALL THE GOOD GUYS ARE HELPLESS. I'm saying that for bad guys, sometimes, all they have in their whole life is that one girl. The one special girl that somehow 'spell' them to be loyal to, to do whatever it takes to protect and make her happy. It's like Superman and his kryptonite. For them, the world would end without her and/or she might be the very last person he would laid eyes on.

WHY NOT GOOD GUYS

On the other hand, good guys tend to argue *with all their mighty smart-ass arguments and reasons* and it usually doesn't end well - as far as I checked. Good guys are very solid on their statements. The scenario would be like two cobra king snakes trying to fight for an ostrich egg. For girls, it all comes down to " Are you willing to step out from your comfort zone and make a difference? ".

By saying or thinking he is " I'm the good guy " is a very outstanding way to say that that 'good guy' is overconfident and braggy. And girls definitely won't be impressed by that. So IF AND ONLY IF you think you're a GOOD GUY here or for your entire life, well think again.

Besides, good guys tend to expect their girls to be the same - to be PRIM AND PROPER. Girls, if you're one of these gangs then congratulations, you will find your prince in that pile of people. But for girls like me, I wouldn't impress a good guy by being NOT ME o_O . I should say, I would want my man to accept the way I am and just the way I am. Good guys will want more from their girls.

I don't want more, I just need a polite girl, a girl who doesn't smoke, doesn't swear, doesn't fart in public, puts on make up and wear nice clothes, cleans, cooks, pretty face, nyeh nyeh nyeh.

Get a Miranda Kerr then!!

AND FOR THE LAST TIME I REPEAT, THIS DOESN'T APPLY TO ALL OF THE GOOD GUYS. IF YOU FEEL LIKE I'M MENTIONING ABOUT YOU, SUCK IT CAUSE I AM.

So readers, the next time you hear some single bachelor uttering that "Girls always fall for bad guys" phrase, stop him and ask "Are you saying you're a good guy?" If you found a decent answer, DATE  THAT MR.NICE GUY! ;)
