Hola!

Sometime this week, I had time to drop by at this cafe that I haven't visit for quite a while. So my first meal was Chicken Chop with Coleslaw and Potato Nachos. The potato nachos was something different to me, cause on the picture I'm very sure I saw potato chips. But, it wasn't that bad.

So, last weekend was my off weekend and my friends and I went to Mad About Coco to give it a try. I have zero idea what was the review like, we just felt like having a good dessert after a great dinner and I stumbled upon this place in Publika (we were having Korean dinner in Sri Hartamas).

Short Stay at Dreamz Bakery, Kota Damansara

Hola!!!

I was and is going to fully utilise my last two weeks before I was back to becoming a working ant again. By then, I'm not sure I actually will have the energy for writing. :( For now, let's enjoy the moment. A friend is working in Kota Damansara and after lunch with her, we had nowhere to go. She suggested this place - Dreamz Bakery.

Upon arrival, we eyed on everything little thing in their store. Full with handmade art works, childhood gums and cookies, cute little decorations all over the bakery store. So fun to look at. :D I only ordered Dark Secret cake to try out and I love it. Fresh, great taste and texture. It's just really rare to get fresh cake these days though there are a lot of cafes around. Maybe it's because they are a bakery store (duuuh).

Say Never Ever to Elstees, SS15

Hola!!!

Have you ever, EVER tried a drink or any food and the taste just makes you feel "yuck" that you just have to spit it out?! Yeap! That kinda feeling. We were supposed to dine at Meltz@SS15 but it was closed. an't remember which day was it. So I passed by this cafe. Looked pretty decent with minimal deco, with reasonable price. And I suggested to try out this one. Hmph.

We both ordered Hot Chocolate for our drinks and I ordered Mix Chop (lamb, chicken and 3 prawns). So sad but true, this is the worst Hot Chocolate that I've ever had. Ever. And ever. It tasted like WATER COLOUR PAINT! Not that I've tried water colour paint before but you just can smell it pretty well! :/ I literally was so disappointed with it! So disgusting that I just left it there and insisted my friend to do the same! (LOL by telling her she'll die of drinking that water colour liquid)

The food was so so, nothing much to talk about. I was already shocked with their so called Hot Chocolate. So much 'so' in this post. Just eww. Sorry Elstees, but you gotta improve a hell lot more than what you are doing now. You got a great location and deco. Don't mess up with F&B!

Oh.. We went to calm our tummy down with some desserts in Brewyard after that. Mood back to
 happy.

Resting at Sitka, Damansara Heights

Hola!

Started to get out from my bed since Thursday and it feels so good to come out to this er, not-so-fresh-air. Oh I miss Sabah's air! :( But yea, my immune system is back to normal but still kinda careful with my food intake. Heh.

Went to this cafe in Damansara Heights after round and round KL area for a parking to try out LOKL, lost our way to Hartamas' Brewmen. LOL! Ended up in Sitka. Never heard of it. I'm glad I did. Tried their hot chocolate and their cakes. Pretty good in taste, a little too sweet, however. For sweet tooth, you guys would find it just fine. I'm not very sure about their consistency yet I'll be back to confirm this. ;)

Dip n Dip, eCurve

Hola!!

This is by far, the sweetest dessert place I've ever been in Malaysia (or at least Klang Valley area). Who doesn't know Dip n Dip? I first stepped in this place but Bangsar branch months ago. It wasn't crowded that day and I tried one of their dessert. 

Oh my god. Super sweet. Maximum endorphins released. Oh my god.

This was the second time and in eCurve branch.

Oh my god. Super duper sweet too. Yet super happy. It's not a place that I would visit constantly but occasionally, I guess. Especially when someone is really really down and moody, this will be the prefect dessert place. 

HOWEVER, this wasn't the point of writing this. My point was, I ordered Iced Lemon Tea (something sour-sih) with less ice. It was still too sweet for me so I requested for the waitress to add some water. I didn't want them to add ice cause I'll be coughing half dead in the middle of the night. But she came back with my glass full of ice. I told her I didn't want ice and she said..

NO WATER.

What the hell do you mean by no water?! You made these drinks of mine and my friends' with water, isn't it?! Sometimes I really have no clue what service am I paying for. Pfft. *mood turned back to sour* I bet you guys received bad service before, right?

Currently my favourite cupcake store. Well, not THE best but definitely much better than those made by Wondermilk or Bisou or whatever stylish store brands. I have yet to finish all their flavours cause I just discovered this store two weeks ago.

So, give me some time to try out ALLLLLLL their cupcakes and I will pick ZE BEST one ever! Wtm... Hahahaa! But if any of you know any other store that has great cupcakes please let me know! I love cupcakes!

Anniversary Date

Hola!

Last thursday was our first anniversary. Such a dramatic year, I must say (hahaha!). Maybe it's because my previous relationships were always long distance ones so I didn't really have any sort of serious arguments or disagreements. This is probably my first (and lasted for a year so far) XD. 

We were both working. I'm busy, he's busier.. So we try to find time to meet up as much as possible and thank God we had time for our anni last week. Nothing special actually. Got him a new spectacles and he was very excited about it. LOL.. 

I always wrap his presents just to give him a suspense. YouTube was really really helpful with the videos on making boxes form papers, origami boxes etc. I love wrapping presents! We dine at one of our regular places and chilled until it was closed. Great night :)

But yeah.. Happy night and wishing another 365 days with lots of luck!

Chocolaty Overload at Dip n Dip, Bangsar.

Hola!

Another post about chocolate! I almost forgot how much I was addicted to a very high level of sweetness! =___= I used to eat quite a lot of chocolaty stuff but when I heard someone said that would cause even more cellulite, I stopped. Not completely, I still do take in chocolates every now and then but not as often as before. And not as sweet as before too.

Been wanting to try this place every since I saw the massive queue! And we went during the past weekend.......not packed at all. Major love. I ordered the Brownies crepe which the art on top was pretty awesome :). 

Very very very very veryyyyyy sweet. With all the chocolate you could find in it. Ooooo! I'll be back for variety. The menu seems inviting. Haha!

Chocolate Fan - Level #100

Hola!

Mr.A got me a box of chocolate some time ago. It's my first time looking at this brand and this packaging and this design. I just keep staring at it. Might as well share it here. HA HA.

It's called Willie's Cacao and this box has 5 different sub packaging which is totally different from the main box.o_O Of course then, 5 different chocolate bar from  different countries. If you notice the #1 picture, there is a square shaped paper. That is the map for the origin of each chocolate bar as well as an introduction of the owner on how he discovered the flavours. There are some other country bars that I don't have. *hint* LOL.

So far I've tested only one bar and it's legit. Price wise, i-don't-think-you-would-want-to-know or #justonceinalifetime. At least for me, I'm not fine with the price although the quality is there. Maybe for most people they are willing to spend on this...?

I think I'll just keep the boxes after I finished each and every one of them. Hehee!

Selamat Hari Raya, Ipoh!

Hola!

This raya I went to Ipoh! Nyahahahaa! Selamat hari raya, people!!! Ipoh reminds me of my home. The air is fresh (at least fresher than KL) and it's not really a busy place there. I saw some pretty happening spots around and it's quite fascinating to see quite a lot of fancy restaurants. So I'd been to only a few places because most of the time I spent was sleeping and watching tv. Wtm..

So let's roll..

PIXIE OF THE DAY

1. Started off quite late and we had to take the emergency lane most of the time. The weather was lovely though.. :)
2. It was more than 2 1/2 hours drive so we kinda wind down the window for ah girl to get some air. #likeaboss
3. Then, she gave the can-i-have-some more-air look. Wtm.. 
4. ohhhh i really miss the window...
5. Me and super enjoying doggie behind. =___=
6. After 3 hours plus - FINALLYYYYYYYYY!!!!! Ipoh mali! Ipoh mali!
7. Went to Mc Cafe for supper after arriving at Ipoh. Didn't know they have not so bad desserts. Took a long time to pick mine. Wtm..
8. Met a new friend, Golden. Poor thing had to stay home with the super down face cause he's not allowed to join. Nyahahahaha! Wtm..
9. So I went to visit one of the temples in Ipoh.. Man, it was kinda tiring to walk up and down the temple. It's not big... Maybe it's my stamina problem. You know, princess don't get to walk that much one la.. Hahaha wtm.
10. Some views around the temple that I snapped while the rest went to pay their respects to their ancestors.
11. I don't know why but these stones seem so unreal to me.. Lol.. proly due to the effect of the picture.
12. Then I managed to visit the famous restaurant - Big Big Tree Restaurant. People swarming around that place. Lots of food stalls. Took quite some time to decide what to eat again. Wtm.. 
13. The big tree is indeed..... big. So nice sitting under the shade, enjoying the food. The tables and chairs and the landscape is a bit messy but such a timeless spot to visit. Pardon the quality of my panorama. Blame the cars, they were moving. Hahahaa..
14. Tried the roasted pork... Pretty good but not enough.. :)
15. Came back yesterday and went straight to 1U for dinner. Japanese ramen. Heehee..
