Beauty Issue #8 - Po Bling Pore Sonic Cleanser

When my "small boss" went to taiwan, I told her I wanted this - Po Bling Pore Sonic Cleanser. I have been wanting to get one of my own but I'm so not familiar with taiwan products. And she does. I think I'm more familiar with Western products.

I've been using it for 2 weeks, I guess and it does has it's pros and cons, similar to those I've read online.

What I love about it is it cleans my white heads. Those you can feel on your nose using your fingers. I used to scratch them off a lot when I have the chance to. But it was always there. This cleanser actually acts as a scrub to my face. So I barely use scrub cleanser nowadays. Combining both will actually make my skin really dry.

After a few experiment, I personally think it's best for me to use this cleanser only twice per week (mostly Tuesday & Friday) to avoid my skin turning dry.

Also, it's using normal batteries but then really waterproof at the same time. So, no worries about damaging the batteries here.

What I dislike about it is the brushes. It's okay for now as it's still new. But after some time, before changing the head, I would always imagine all the bacteria living inside and underneath the brush.

Eww.

Other than that, everything seems fine for me. I wouldn't have high hope on removing my blackheads with this cleanser because I can clearly see and clarify that IT DOESN'T WORK on black heads. I have plenty of black heads and I know if a product works on them. And this Po Bling Pore Sonic Cleanser is not in my black-head-free list.

Yet for the price and it's function, I think I'll keep it until it's useless to me. :)

Ovarian Cyst Removal

Some of you might know in detail about what happened to me last week. For some, sorry for keeping you guys worried. I figured this is one of my very unforgettable happenings in my life and I would like all ladies especially to pay attention to this.

As my title stated, I had a cyst, growing inside of me -without knowing it. "Pfft... How could this happen to me, right?" But it did. In fact, it can happen to you, your BFF, anyone, literally. Don't be that surprised.

From Wikipedia, "An ovarian cyst is any collection of fluid, surrounded by a very thin wall, within an ovary." If you guys wants to visualize these words, just refer to the first picture above. THAT'S A CYST. 

Last month, I was really busy. Seriously. But again, since when I'm free and easy since 2015, right? Last month was a little different. I felt slight pain at my left abdomen (or in general, stomach. LOL..everything is so scientific to me now) right after I ate some desserts. No proper meal due to pre-CNY work. And I thought it was normal and it would go away. I thought. 

Well I thought wrong.

The pain went on and off for the past few weeks before Chinese New Year and I ignored it over and over. During CNY, it was obvious that my tummy was growing. I thought it was funny cause my tummy looked like a watermelon. Haha. Oh, I slept a lot during the holiday season too. Like, hibernating-kinda-a-lot.

"Must be those yummy-juicy food I had day and night."

A day after I was back to work, the pain came back. However, it was severe at night. My plan was to go to the clinic the next day. Good plan.

Midnight struck and the pain was at level 6/10. Shyt. Went to the clinic and the doctor said it was air plus constipation. I doubted for a sec cause I took a glass of fibre days ago to make sure my motions are passed out well. But then, who's the doctor here.

Had a jab of pain killer, went home, took the meds before heading to bed. Tired as hell. Couldn't sleep all night until 4am - first throw up.

6am - second throw up.

Obviously the meds weren't working. Damn. At that point, my pain level increased to 7/10. Still, I waited 'til it was 8am, and texted my boss at work. I couldn't drive and had to wait for my colleagues to pick up me to the hospital.

12pm - Did ultrasound after doctor's consultation and then he said there's a cyst - a HUGE cyst. I didn't listen to him as my pain level was up to 9/10. I requested for pain killers. Like a drug addict.

The O&G specialist said surgery had to be done on the same day. The cyst was huge and twisted with my Fallopian tube hence the severe pain. I said yes to everything as long as I have pain killers for 24/7. You guys don't have to imagine how huge is my cyst. It's on my #2 picture above. :)

From the doctor's words before it was removed "It's as huge as a fully formed baby's head". Geez. SI much for thinking it's a watermelon. Hah.

I had laparotomy. Laparotomy are usually performed when cysts are much bigger (any cyst >6cm) than normal size which might be cancerous. Thank God mine was benign. 

It can happen to any ladies. So my advice, go for the ultrasound. At least once a year just to make sure. No harm anyway. Guys, get your ladies for a check up too.

Chinese Goat Year 2015

Happy Chinese New Year to all of you! I bet everyone is enjoying every bit of this season because Chinese New Year basically is a lot about FOOD and ANG PAUs! Haha!

Currently writing this from my hometown - Sabah. I think most people would confuse Sabah and Sarawak but it's okay, I'm used to it anyway. But yea I'm from Sabah, staying in Kota Kinabalu but currently just coming back for a week to have a relaxing holiday!

#1. This year on it will be different as I have an addition to the Tang family. Heh. And my baby cousin is very much excited about her too. 

#2. My bro, insisted to have a picture with my grandma, who was busy with her mahjong everyday!

#3. My cousins were busy trying to get their wishes to be thrown up to the tree. I think I quietly just hung it myself. XD

#4. Lion dance invited by my aunt. One of my cousin is quite active in the lion dance society. It's not a bad thing to continue the tradition. :)

#5. Fire works of course. It's literally a must for chinese to have fire works. It's kinda banned in Malaysia for the past years but you'll still see fire works here and there during festive seasons.

Let's talk about work.

Yea the word itself is already pretty much boring. I'm not sure about you guys, but I think it's really important for a person to find a job their passionate about. Or at least one that doesn't give any Monday blues.

I actually found mine. In 2013. But that ended in 2014. So I found another job that I love after the first. Or so I thought. Heh.

Joining MINI is really fun. However, each job has its challenge. I finally knew what mine was. Perhaps it was because I was very new to this industry. Alaa, excuse only kot. 

I met really great people. They are not fussy, quick and easy deal. Yet I also met the really really really hard-to-deal people. It's good. Both are great for my experience. My patience are tested to the Mount Everest top at the same time sweet customers gave me so much lovely treats.

Oh well. Let's see how long I can take the bull by the horns.

Celebrity Night by Auto Bavaria Staff Day 2015

It's a little early for a party in 2015 but whatever. It was a fun weekend for all of us who joined. We were placed in our respective private chalet in Grand Lexis Port Dickson. One of the places that I've been wanting to try out. Heh.

We had team building afternoon and it was pretty much crazy too. The weather was extremely hot and the games made us competitive. >.< Then we checked in and the first thing I did was diving in the pool. Haha! Good thing the water was clean and clear. 

After resting quite a bit, we started dressing up and putting on our make ups. And as I've already posted in Facebook, I went as Maleficient. The headband was really something. I couldn't move around much cause it was tall and unstable even with a few pins around my head.

A lot of us did dress up so Cheers to the effort yo! Lots of funny characters in a room!

There were Beauty Pageant by some beasts too. Very very very entertaining. The 'girls' were sexy too. LOL!

Followed by the award ceremony to those who contributed a lot to Auto Bavaria, and some funny awards (which I got The Cry Baby award -_________-). Also thank you for the award for Female's Best Dress, I got a new G shock added to my collection! <3>

Last but not least, after I took of my so-very-heavy-and-huge headband, PAAAAAAAAAAAAARTYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!! And we started to mix and match all the props! XD

Great event to end my busy bee January! Really a de-stress weekend! Thank you Auto Bavaria!

Nail Resolution

I got this Sephora Nail Polish collection from my dear colleague who knew I love to colour other people's fingers. Haha! I do have a stash of nail polishes in the office. In fact, It's getting packed if I'm gonna get more of these! >.<

Okay. I love the colours! I love how it sets so quick on my nails dries up pretty quick. Love the simple instructed designs and tutorials too! The above nail was my first on in 2015. Hopefully more to come! *fingers crossed*

Will try another design again for this weekend! :*

Swim and Gym

Okay, speaking of Resolution 2015, I have one. Haha! I know it sounds silly but I do have one! Yeap.. As you can see, I would like to swim again. I always wanted to swim again. I love staying long in the water. So I signed up for gym! Yeay!

The main reason is to take care of my health (from dr's advice) and another thing is to be fit! Don't laugh! I know it's unbelievable but I'll do it for my own's sake!

Okay.. Day one of 2015 is over and I'm so glad it was well spent! Pictures shown were my countdown pictures on New Year's Eve.
