Waking Up As September Ends

Hola people! Blogging is so at the bottom of my To-Do-List. I was looking back at my old posts and oh my... I was so young back then! >.< All the fun-and-stress free-plus-no worries days!

Anyways, back to now, I had my birthday dinner last week with my pretty little bitches. Hmm.. correction is BIRTHDAY DINNER - CHASED HITZ.FM FUGITIVE - BIRTHDAY CAKE. A little confusing but bare with me, I'll explain it as you read.

We decided to try Las Delicias as one of us tried and said the food was *thumbs up* and plus we have the vouchers for that restaurant. But I must say, the customer service was pretty bad.

The awesome Pork Lasagna. I would go back for this dish, seriously.

Pork Burger... Nah..

Lamb Shank would be my #2 favorite of the night

Well you see, it was a good Friday night (28/9/2012) with them at Las Delicias, Citta Mall and all of the sudden one of us said "It's 9pm" which was the last and final round of catching the Hitz.fm fugitive. So...we all quickly paid the bill and rushed to KLCC (apparently wasn't the right place after all) and we had a great time running up and down sharing clues and asking people around, "ARE YOU THE HITZ.FM FUGITIVE?" LOL!!

And then, it was after 11pm when the winner caught the fugitive at Merdeka Square for RM14,000! Congrats *with heartache*. And it was what the melon CAKE time! We went to Ampang to search for Station One just to realized it was a-station one-turned-DOLPHIN-cafe-restaurant. Yea. . .

From Free Mori. Not bad, surprisingly.
Tired but happy!

Mint Hot Chocolate

Chatted whole night like there is no tomorrow. Haven't had such great time with these idiots for a loooooong time.

I'll be back for the next round of birthday dinner. :)

Memories

I saw a little boy crying alone because his mother was late to pick him up. And I remembered at that point my dad would do the same too. Then, he found a solution for me to stop my tears. He bought me a watch and told me that he would be there at a specific time if he knows he's going to be late. And since that day I stopped crying.. I didn't really keep track on the time from the watch though. It was just on my wrist all the time to serve as a comfort to me. Hah!

Anyways, pictures for today:-

Dyed my hair but I guess it's not obvious in the pictures.

What a day.

Bye peeps!

I Am Reminded

Hola!! It's the end of May and I'm uh..... 3094783648 post behind. LOL!

*with French accent* pardon me, me love.. I'd been busy.

But today, today is different. There was an urge that pushed me to write. Can't believe I need AN URGE to write now. *sigh to my blog* But first of all, I would like to announce that the word SCANDAL and OBSCENE is officially banned from my life.

I had... a couple of questions being asked earlier and I think I need to rephrase my answers after another thought.

You know when you're being questioned and they just aren't convinced with the answer you replied ? And then you feel like . . . . turning into The Incredible Hulk. I always tell my kids that being a paper chaser doesn't do much as compared to their own personality and originality. Shamed to admit, their mentor, mua phailed in many ways.

Papers are indeed important. Before you meet someone formally, paper work/ reading is the first thing you must do. I was tested on an industry that never crossed my mind for once and hell yeah I have to admit, IT WAS AND IT TOUGH. Convincing people is one thing I didn't and couldn't learn from school. And it would be on my degree cert as well. It's something that I learn along my life. How would you convince people to actually believe that you're capable of doing what you're expected to when it is obvious that you don't have any experience on?

If I could, I would say. . . I won't disappoint you. In whatever task I'll be given, I'll put 200% in it without doubt. As important as the process is to me, so does the end result. I want and I need to see the end product where I put my full effort in. There you go.

Then, a really tough question was where will you be in 5 years time? Honestly, I don't know. But I'm clear with what I want to do. I would hold on to things that I'm capable of. Because I believe if I would keep what I have at my current position, it must be something worth a lot. It would be too much for me to let it go just like that. Years are just numbers.. If you found something worth holding on, you would have stopped counting from day 1. *wink*

DO YOU REALLY WANT THIS?
This is easy but I wouldn't have the courage to tell mainly due to the fact that I'm totally not in the position to say so. But I would confidently say 'Yes' based on the response of the people I met. I remember well the day I was interviewed by JA and LA for my official job, it was a comfortable one. I love it and still do despite the change now. I love the way they made me felt so homey even before I started day one.

Grab it while you can.

Good night people. See you again soon. :))

Give Me What I Need.

Holla! I'm kind of having a long weekend and I thought "Why don't I write something up." And strange to say that I'm going to be writing about an article I read from the papers which I couldn't agree more. The funny part is it's about parenthood. XD

I really love this article of hers on "Kids matter" and I strongly believe that the new century parents should benefit from it.

"When I was growing up, my siblings and I were required to address all adults and older cousins by their titles."

True. Especially my mum. She would make sure that I call the adults out loud and clear for everyone in the whole room's attention. I would panic if I couldn't remember what title to address certain aunts or uncles. In times like that, I would whisper to my dad and ask "How to call him ah?" and it certainly did embarrass me when my dad answered me in a firm tone.

Kids nowadays, based on my observations and encounters as well, they will just take a look at you and continue with their games or homework or cartoon shows. It really surprises me to see their level of respect towards adults are so low that it seems it was already implanted from the previous generations.

Another thing about new parents are they would take the easiest way out to solve their children's crying, whining or rebellious behaviors. Mums and dads would just give in to every demands or requests their kids want the moment they get cranky.

"I don't mean being a complete pushover and giving in to every want and whine."

A very good phrase. I vividly remember whenever I whine to my mum over something that I want e.g. new pencil or color pens, she would tell me to stop or else she would just leave me in the store. And I really appreciate her for being mean to me because I realized back then that showing her my attitude isn't going to work in my family - AT ALL. I had and have to prove to them that I'm worth it to make a request from them. Parents should let their kids learn from the hard way instead of just shutting them up the easiest way.

There are a lot of occasions that you can witness in a restaurant or in the shopping mall on the way a mum would let her baby play with the iPad while she'll be busy chatting around with her friends or dad, who's trying to have a comfy meal would shut his kid up with a phone or any kind of electronic device. These actions or so-called-solutions seriously will create a bigger and unmanageable mindset for the next generation which I would never want to think about.

Apart from this, parents always teaches their kids to not talk to any kind of strangers. The phrase " DO NOT TALK TO STRANGERS" is always being uttered in a way that it threatens a child to take as serious as he/she could. I could understand that why kids are shy when I first met them - we've never met, the kids thinks i'm vulnerable to her etc.

"Do you realize being shy is actually a child's first line of defense? You won't want your child to be best friends with every strange adult she sees, will you?"

I truly wish that every parent would think twice about the direction of their parenting skills as kids grasp fast on how adults are going to react towards each and every behavior. The results would be very easy - either break or make a child.

Till then peeps.

The Comeback

Holla! I’ve resurrected from the dead. Heh!

I’ve been gone for so long that I don’t know where to start. It’s like blogging for the first time again. Ah~ the first is always the unforgettable one.

Well, to start off, Happy 2012! We’re going to die soon. LOL. =____=

Okay, it’s another new year people, but of course we’re still the old us, eh? Speaking of new, I’m doing so far so good – new house, new gadget and new *bling bling* wheels. *wink*. Kinda like the first quarter of the year despite the little tiny weeny difficulties I had/have.

Alright, the end of story. See…? I fast forward my story from 2011 until now for you, saving your time of viewing every now and then. HA. . . . . HA. But *fingers crossed* I won’t have to dump my blog for th____________________________is long again, okay? I have a lot to express but too little time lazy.

Facebook is too complicated, and Twitter is too limited. Darn. Now I realized I should appreciate my blog more. It’s private in a way but it’s extremely easy for me to say a say.

I’m signing off soon and hope to write again soon. You people, take care and have a fawsome day ahead!

Not My Fault, Najib

No, it really isn't my fault. I'm innocent.

The title was "A Rich Man's Complaint" . It's an IWP = Informal Writing Practice - to exert their own ideas. So, this was what one of them gave me.

Have a great Sunday!
